Unrefined Sesame Oil contains antioxidants, including sesamol and sesamin, and vitamin E, and is high in omega 6 and 9.Expeller pressing is a mechanical method for extracting oil. The seed is squeezed under high pressure in a single step. Unrefined oils are filtered only lightly to remove large particles. The flavor, color and fragrance of unrefined oils are more pronounced than in refined oils; they are more nutritious and have a shorter storage life than refined.Unrefined Sesame Oil is used for medium heat cooking with a smoke point of 320-356.
