Application

  • Relays are being used as the interface between the two circuits at same or different potential to achieve:
  • Electrical isolation between the controller and the load side
  • For Signal multiplication
  • For Signal amplification
  • And to interface different potential

Varioface Relay Modules are specially designed to meet the application of relays in all electrical control panels in various voltage ranges like 12, 24 and 48 VDC and 24, 110 and 230 VAC commonly used in all industries.In practice a relay interface comes into use when flexible interface configuration with large switching capacity range and the possibility of combining different types of contact is required.Varioface Relay Modules are the compact modules carrying multiple electro mechanical / solid state relays on a single PCB along with the required screw terminals and necessary protection and signalling circuitry.

Varioface Relay Modules are configured as:

  • Relays in groups of 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 nos on one board
  • Relays with 1/ 2/ 4 Change Over
  • With/without Fuse Protection with/ without fuse blown indication
  • Relays with socket or directly soldered on PCB
  • Above range virtually offers every interfacing requirement in the electric controls panel


Advantages of the module at a glance:Varioface Relay Modules carry all the advantages of relays with the following additional advantages:Visual indication for Relay status, necessary protection circuits, e.g. Free wheeling diode with DC relays etc. make the complete module more useful than just a relay. This default feature of modules minimizes the faults, too.

  • Modular shape and compact size of module helps in simplified construction of the switch cabinets. Wiring gets reduced.
  • It provides convenient means of wiring via properly labeled screw terminals, which reduces the wiring mistakes and debugging becomes easier on later stages.
  • Generally relays are used in group; in which looping of one coil terminal is quite common. On board plug-in jumpers facilitate this function in relay modules and hence external wire looping is not required.
  • Modules are Din Rail mountable.
  • Major components like relays, fuses etc can be replaced easily.
  • On demand more features can be added on the same board e.g. fuses, with / without fuse blown indication.
  • Customization is possible if required.
