The fifth largest city of Rajasthan, Ajmer consists of a population of over 542,580 in the city 551,360 and in its urban agglomeration. Encircled by the Aravalli Mountains, this city is a pilgrimage center in the memory of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and lies almost in the middle of Rajasthan.
