We produce and create thermocouples with mineral insulation. The outer metal sheath of mineral insulated thermocouples shields the thermocouple components from contamination and damage. Because this sheath is flexible, mineral insulated thermocouples can be easily bent and moulded into a variety of shapes to fit your application. Magnesium oxide powder is used to insulate the inner thermocouple elements, and it is packed securely so that no air can get trapped inside. This results in excellent thermal conductivity.

  • Due to its extreme durability and ability to endure temperatures of up to 1250°C (depending on the thermocouple type and design), MI Thermocouples are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, including ovens, kilns, and furnaces.
