We produce and create resistance thermometers with mineral insulation. Resistance thermometers are sometimes known as Pt100 sensors, resistance thermometer detectors, or platinum resistance thermometers (PRTs). A metal wrapping on the outside of mineral insulated resistance thermometers shields the P100 element from contamination and damage. Magnesium oxide powder is used to insulate this outer sheath, and it is packed securely to ensure that no air is trapped inside. As a result, mineral insulated RTD can be bent into a number of shapes to suit your application in addition to having excellent thermal conductivity.
