Our Complete range of products are Green Raisins, Black Raisins and Dried Munakka.
More commonly known as "kishmish, raisins are basically dried grapes. In UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia, the word raisin is reserved for dark coloured large grapes, with sultana being a golden coloured dried grape and currant being a dried small black corinth seedless grape. Green raisins are juicy and tender. These sun- soaked gems are a good source of natural sugars, iron and B vitamins. Raisins look very simple and unpalatable with their aged appearance and dry texture, but they are one of natures healthiest alternatives to those sugar rich manufactured candies and sweet products. Raisins contains fibres that start to swell in the presence of water.
Usage
12-15 pieces of green raisins must be included in the daily diet. However for diabetic patients the usage must not exceed more than 4-5 pieces per day.
Known more commonly “kali drakh”, black raisins have established an indispensable role in the dry fruit industry. Whether as an additive in chocolate manufacturing or their incorporation in bakery products, these black coloured, chewy delicacies are loved by people of all ages. In addition to that they impart relief from health anomalies like acidosis and constipation. Nutrients present in these dried fruits enhances the longevity of skin and cells, while protecting the body from cancer and other regenerative diseases.
Usage
5-6 pieces of black raisins must be consumed on a daily basis. These raisins have a small seed inside them as well. Jain dry fruits recommends its customers to consume this seed as well, as its completely edible and full of antioxidants, amino acids and powerful flavonoids. Black raisins also find there way in bakeries and chocolates hence making them a widely used grape.
Grapes that are dried in a certain manner become munakka. Most of the helpful qualities of grapes can be found in munakka. Munakka is cooling and sweet. Its enormously beneficial to the cardiovascular system and also provides relief from fatigue. Regular munakka has same taste like the premium one thus uniformity in taste, only difference is size. It is also called as Abjosh.
