Blind rivet technology is always the answer when it comes to connecting thin-walled components and simultaneously creating threads. That means, for example, that processing is also possible with single side access to the component - so-called blind processing. For internal and external threads on components with minimal thickness not allowing for a cut thread, Bllhoff offers RIVKLE blind rivet nuts and studs. Blind assembly means that they can also be used with hollow sections. The particular advantage over other types of fasteners with internal threads is that the time expended on setting is minimal and processing costs are low due to the small number of tools used. Bllhoff offers a wide range of standard products as well as many customer-specific special products. Bllhoff offers processing tools for any application: from simple hand pliers for individual fixtures to mechanical hand-operated tools for medium and large scale production right down to fully automated processing. Since the tools are developed and produced in-house, they can be adapted to customer requirements.For connecting thin-walled components, Bllhoff offers a cost-efficient solution in RIVQUICK blind rivets. In addition to the standard blind rivets, varigrip multiapplication blind rivets, featuring a particularly large clamping range, are also available. That guarantees a tight, vibration-free fit even with great bore tolerances. In addition, we also offer a large variety of special products, developed in-house. It goes without saying that Bllhoff also supplies the appropriate manual and mechanical setting tool.
Sai Machine Tools has designed and developed orbital (spin) riveting machine and impact auto rivet feeding (pneumatic and mechanical) machines. Having a number of advantages, Ultra spin riveting is the ideal choice over other riveting methods. In spin riveting, the tool is mounted on a rotating spindle with the axis of tool fixed at an angle 3o-6o off the the spindle axis and transcribes the pattern of an inverted cone. The tool doesnt rotate on its own axis. The tool axis intersects the spindle axis at the working end of the tool and the orbiting tool presses on the rivet shank along a radial line that begins from the shank centre. As the pressure is applied a flowing wave of material is formed ahead of the orbital tool to produce the desired shape.
Helicoil thread inserts create high strength threads in low strength materials. These are stainless steel thread inserts formed into elastic spirals in proven quality from wire with rhombic profile, which gets installed into low strength material of aluminium, zinc, magnesium alloy etc. These thread inserts have high wear resistance, low thread friction with small tolerance, high surface quality as well as corrosion and heat resistanceHelicoil Plus thread inserts are available in two versions: Helicoil Plus Free Running and Helicoil Plus Screwlock. Like screw, thread inserts are screwed in with an installation mandrel. Screwlock helicoil comes additionally with integrated screw clamping area which serves as locking, resulting in elastically resilient frictional locking.
