Autobahn Make multipurposesafety clampare made from high grade of quality alloy steel dully hardened and tempered and ultrasonic /magnetic particle tested. Autobahn makesafety clampcan also be used while running in large diameter surface casing, handling of drilling risers and casing heads during installation and lifting prepacked gravel liners.

TheSafety Clampconsists of individual links, flexibly hinged together. Each link has a separate tapered slip which acts as a gripping member, much like a tapered rotary slip, and each slip is held in a retracted position on the taper by spring tension. When the clamp is tightened, each small slip takes a firm initial grip on the surface of the pipe. Should the pipe start to fall, or should load increase occur against the slips, the taper mounting causes each slip to wedge tighter against the surface of the pipe to increase the grip or lock the pipe against further movement.

The multi-link design provides uniform pressure around the pipe so the risks of crushing the pipe or damaging the surface are minimized. Each link complete with tapered slip is interchangeable as a unit and is readily adaptable to any diameter sizes from 2.7/8" to 36".Safety clamps Types:

• Type "T-SAFETY CLAMPS:- The KET Type"T Safety Clampis designed for small diameter pipe 1 1/8 - 4 1/2 O.D. Each link changes the effective working range approximately 1 in diameter. "
• Type "C-SAFETY CLAMPS- Type"C Safety Clampis use for Rig Floor. It helps guard against dropping flush-joint pipe, as well as streamlined drill collars, etc.
• Multi-Purpose (MP):- MPSafety Clampis ideal to help safeguard against dropping strings of flush joint tubing while making up or breaking out the string

MP SafetyClamps are essential tools for handling drill collars, drill pipe, tubing, flush joint pipes and small shoulder pipes. By adjusting the quantity of chains links they can fit pipes of different sizes.
