The ABMB-3750 model hinged pin driveMaster Bushingfor 37-1/2" rotary table is developed as per API-7K specifications for off-shore drilling operations. With the help of Insert Bowls it is capable to handle 2-3/8" through 13-3/8" inch O.D. drill pipe, drill collars, tubing and casing up to load of 500 tons. ABMB with a hinged design can be removed from the rotary table to pass large diameter bit and pipe connections directly through the Rotary table and it has all the performance features of a solidmaster bushing. The ABMB is equipped with insert bowl No.3 (Std) and optional inserts bowl No.1 & 2. The ABMB is incorporated with latches that lock into the rotary table. Locking latches are provided to lock the bowls into thebushing.Master Bushingis also equipped with retainer pins to prevent them from falling out when the hinges are opened.

LIFTING SLINGS:The ABMB is equipped with a four hook steel chain for lifting purpose.

TheSafety Clampconsists of individual links, flexibly hinged together. Each link has a separate tapered slip which acts as a gripping member, much like a tapered rotary slip, and each slip is held in a retracted position on the taper by spring tension. When the clamp is tightened, each small slip takes a firm initial grip on the surface of the pipe. Should the pipe start to fall, or should load increase occur against the slips, the taper mounting causes each slip to wedge tighter against the surface of the pipe to increase the grip or lock the pipe against further movement.

The multi-link design provides uniform pressure around the pipe so the risks of crushing the pipe or damaging the surface are minimized. Each link complete with tapered slip is interchangeable as a unit and is readily adaptable to any diameter sizes from 2.7/8" to 36".Safety clamps Types:

1. Top Cover Assembly:Top cover assembly is ergonomically designed with two halves and slip set ring. Top cover assembly is mounted on four slip hangers with pins.


2. Slip Assembly:Four slip segments of 16 1/2" grip length for gripping the tubular size 4 1/2" to 5 1/2", are dressed with 48EA Inserts, 4EA Insert Retaining Ring and 8EA Allen Screw.


3. Bowl Assembly:Bowl assembly consists of two halves connected with bowl hinge pin to enable the installation and removal of the power slip from theMaster Bushing. Bowl assembly is provided with four numbers of Coil Spring Cartridges and Foot Pedal for releasing the slips.
