Crepe Paper Tape is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape made from flexible, stretchable crepe paper backing coated with a strong rubber-based or acrylic adhesive. It is known for its excellent conformability, making it ideal for masking irregular surfaces and curved profiles in painting, powder coating, and general surface protection applications. The crepe structure allows the tape to stretch without tearing, enabling clean and accurate edge lines while also facilitating easy hand-tearability. It offers good initial tack, secure adhesion to a variety of surfaces including metal, glass, plastic, and wood, and clean removal without leaving residue. Crepe paper tape typically withstands temperatures up to 60C to 80C for standard grades, with high-temperature variants rated up to 160C for automotive and industrial paint processes. It is available in various widths and roll lengths, with color options for visual identification or process coding. The tape conforms to relevant industrial standards for masking and packaging use.
