Bossmanfilter BWC - Series Water cooled after cooler provide economical cooling by utilizing cooling water to cool the hot compressed air from an air compressor.Discharge air from an air compressor is generally 180F - 350F, depending on the type of compressor. With a properly sized aftercooler, as much as 63% of the water in compressed air can be removed. In the counter flow exchanger , fluids flow in opposite directions, usually after entering at apposite side.This arrangement takes maximum advantage of the heat transfer surfaces, requiring the least surface for a given duty and achieving maximum heat recovery and temperature effectiveness.
