Description Of ProcessRefined Lead of about 99.99% is melted in Lead Melting Pot & molten lead is discharged through a discharging pipe connected to the bottom of the pot to cast small balls of refined Lead on Lead Ball Casting Machine. These small Lead Balls are further charged into the Ball Mill which rotates continuously with the help of a gear & pinion driving system connected with a electric motor. The rotation of the ball mill imparts tumbling action & friction to the balls charged into the shell which generates heat & raises the temperature inside the shell. Temperature of the ball mill is controlled periodically with the help of watery spray on outer shell of the ball mill. The Ball mill is further connected with Cyclone & Filter Bag House with a Suction Blower. Oxygen present in the atmosphere comes in contact with the lead inside the ball mill at a particular temperature to form lead sub oxide. The lead converted into oxide (powder form) is sucked with the help of suction blower & sticks on the filter bags fixed inside the Dust Collection Filter Bag House. Further filter bags are cleaned with pressure of air injected through air nozzles & PULSE JET CLEANING SYSTEM. The lead sub oxide powder settles at the bottom of the filter bag house and passed through Rotary Air Lock & Screw Conveyor to collect & store in a trey.
