Principle: the radar level meter adopts the frequency modulated continue wave (fmcw) principle, and uses the frequency difference between the emitted signal and the received signal to confirm the target distance. In operation, the antenna sends micro-waves which have a continuous frequency linearity change and will be reflected when it reaches medium surface, and is then received by the same antenna. There is frequency difference between the received signal and the emitted signal because of the frequency linearity change. This frequency difference is proportional to the distance, making it possible to calculate distance by frequency.
