Split electromagnetic flow meter consists of two parts: the sensor and the converter, the sensor is installed in the measuring pipe, the converter is installed within 30 meters or 100 meters from the sensor, the two are connected by shielded cable.

Selection Between Integrated Electromagnetic Flowmeter and Split Type Electromagnetic Flow Meter
Integrated type electromagnetic flowmeter: Generally chosen for conditions with favorable site and environment, where the sensor and converter are assembled into one unit.
Split electromagnetic flowmeter: The sensor and converter are installed in different locations, typically selected in the following situations:
Based on the temperature of the measured medium, an integrated electromagnetic flowmeter can withstand temperatures up to 80C, while a split-type electromagnetic flowmeter can withstand temperatures up to 150C. Choose the appropriate flowmeter according to the medium temperature.
Consider whether there are explosion-proof requirements; split-type electromagnetic flowmeters are typically used in harsher working environments, so they have a higher protection rating, usually IP68.
