Mp series was used in heavy duty anti corrosion coating (container, marine & industrial coating) mp resin does not contain saponifiable ester bond and its combined chlorine atom is very stable, which makes the coatings perform well in water resistance, salt resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. mp resin does not contain reactive double bond, so it wont easily oxidised and degraded. Moreover, its coating is resistant to atmospheric aging, and its light fastness ability is excellent. It will not easily yellowing and chalking.As the existence of ether bond gives the molecular good internal plasticization, the film still has certain flexibility if not adding any other plasticizer, it will not easily become brittle from the migration of plasticizer. mp resin is the copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether, because of the existence of ether bond, it has good adhesion on the substrates , such as the surface of aluminium and zinc etc light metals. mp resin contains chlorine atom, which gives the resin fireproof ability. It can be used in fireproof coatings with other fire retardant pigments, fillers and fireproof materials. mp resin has good solubility in aromatic hydrocarbons, easters, ketones etc.
