The manufacturing of Nickel screens for the Sugar industry was started in the late seventies with German know how which eventually led to screens for the fruit juicer and other allied industries.
The screen are available in various sizes suited to all international makes of centrifugal and well suited to all Indian versions of screen also. Screens with the identical opening( no. and pitch ) can be supplied to suit individual customer requirements keeping in mind the thickness, dimensions of holes and open screen area. The larger thickness, however, results in smaller width of holes, as well as reduced screen areas.
Screens RigorouslyChecked for:

The mechanism of fibre filters is well known and is basically a combination of impingement for particles greater than 1-2 microns in diameter and diffusion for the finer, particles when brownian motion becomes increasingly predominant. As the gas passes through the filter bed the small mist particles are bombarded by the gas molecules surrounding them, causing them to move in various direction, towards and away from the surface of the fibres making up the filters
Each filter is composed of millions of fibres and although the efficiency of each individual fibre is low the cumulative effect is very high. Low approach velocities are necessary in order to mask the diffusion velocities associated with brownian movement.
The candle are installed vertically and gases pass horizontally through the filter wall, the trapped particles coalescing and draining down through the filter bed.
With the innovative 2 Pack design CPL provides inexpensive solution to mist emission control problems. particle impingment & collection
Gas flow through candles can be either inside/outside or outside/inside depending upon the sitting of the installation and the method of securing the candles in place.

For efficient entrained liquid or mist removal in any liquid-gas/vapour processing operation.
The classifier is a tailor made product of Continental Profiles (India) Limited, specially designed and manufactured out of knitted wires. it consists of wires elements sandwiched between a bottom support and top hold down grid. Properly applied it achieves 99.9% and over separation of entrained liquid in a vapour stream. It is individually engineered for specific process conditions and can be made of any shape or size. It can be installed in new as well as existing vessels.
The separation action of a classifier is mainly that of impingement. The vapour passes easily through large free volume of knitted mesh elements but entrained liquid droplets with greater inertia contact the extensive wire surface of elements and are briefly held. These droplets flow downwards collecting on adjacent wires, flowing downwards again when these collecting points are overloaded. The drops grow in size until they are large enough for the force of gravity to exceed the combined forces of velocity and surface tension when they fall down. The resultant stream is pure vapour containing no liquid.
The highly efficient method of entrainment separation by employing classifiers is widely used in liquid gas process operations in petroleum refining, chemical distillation and evaporation, distillation plantsand nuclear power plants. The important vessels where classifiers are fitted are distillation columns, vacuum towers, fractionating towers, lube oil towers, flash drums, knock-out drums, steam drums, scrubbers, strippers, absorbers, evaporators, cooling towers.

Metal belts are made by joining a number of spiral wires with or without cross wires. It is flexible along its length, semi-rigid across its width and rigid in thickness.
Each Continental Profiles belt is individually engineered to give outstanding performance and extra long life. The requirements of application, service, design of conveyor, are ideally synthesized with constructional details of belts and materials of constructions.
It is a versatile product used in a wide spectrum of industries ranging from food processing to aero-space.
| |
End pressed and rod reinforced belts are ideal for sintering, copper brazing, silver soldering, bright annealing and other heat treatment operations. The special design of ends ensures trouble free performance during long-term round-the-clock operations as high temperatures.
Food processing industry employs Continental Profiles belts on an extensive scale. Stainless steel balanced belts in ovens and multigrill belts for bread cooling have proved to be and ideal choice. Belts are used for slicing, washing, dewatering, cooling and wrapping for sort of food articles
In plywood industry Continental Profiles bands can be seen on band dryers of Schilde, Tromag, Hildebrand and other reputed manufacturers of plywood equipment. These bands are made from specially drawn wires having flat-oval profile. The quality of wires ensures impressions-free thin veneer at the highest operating speeds. |
Continental Profiles balanced belts are being used in numerous glass and decorating ware factories in all phases of production e.g. I. S. machine conveyor, transfer conveyor, annealing and decorating lehrs, transportations of semi-finished and finished products packing etc. Electric lamp shells are annealed on Continental Profiles balanced belts with minimum breakage. Sprocket driven balanced belting is ideal for curing fibre glass. Continental Profiles belts are engineered to provide high tensile strength, straight travel and smooth surface for any conveying operation. Sterilizing and drying of bottles in pharmaceutical industry is ideally done on balanced belting. The belt design provides for efficient heat circulation. |
The Metallic Flexible Hose Assemblies are manufactured in austenitic stainless steel of grades AISI 321, 304, 316, Ti and 316L conforming to SA240; A89 & other international standards.
The Contiflex Metallic Hose Assemblies are manufactured as per type 'A', 'B', and 'C' flexibility conforming to British standard BS:6501, part 1 and are offered in a wide range of sizes (from 6mm nominal bore to 300mm nominal bore), fitted with various types of end fitting of different configuration can also be made and supplied as per customer requirement.
The Hose Assemblies are generally made by TIG welding of stainless steel and carbon steel End connection or by silver brazing, in case of Copper and Brass End connections. These Hose Assemblies are generally supplied without braiding for low pressure and vacuum application.
All raw materials used in a manufacture of corrugated Hoses, Braiding and end connection undergo rigid inspection and testing for physical and chemical properties to ensure highest quality standards. Continental Profiles Ltd. has installed in house testing facilities for various tests required as per BS 6501 and other international test standards specified for Metallic Flexible Hoses.

Continental delivers wire in any of the following forms: In coils, On spools, carriers or other forms of special packaging. Ask about The most appropriate form when ordering. The wire is ordinarily Delivered with an AC surface (coated with the lubricant used during Drawing). An AC surface provides improved friction characteristics during coiling. Heat treatment in the presence of air leads to light oxidation or a discoloring of the surface. A clean metallic surface is provided by annealing in inert atmosphere.
The superior quality of Continental Profiles Wires is not only due to world class technology, but also because of best machines, trained manpower and quality raw materials. In-house testing facilities and fine workmanship, stringent Die polishing norms, along with analytical testing at different stages provide cutting edge to our quality management.
Superior quality of fine wires are made on German machines, covering 0.50 mm to 0.06 mm, Fine wires are supplied on spools in grades AISI 304 and AISI 316. Other grades can be supplied on request.
For the manufacture of:
Sieves, Test Screens, Screen Cloth, Fine Mesh Weaving.Braiding and Fishing NetsSmall Springs, Staples etc.
Coarse wires are supplied in coils. Coil dia may vary from 300 to 600 mm and weight may vary from 20 to 200 Kgs depending upon wire size and hardness condition. Coils are generally wrapped such as waterproof cloth can be used as per client's requirements.
