General terms, conditions & procedure:

• Buyer agrees on the pricing by e-mail with Seller. Pricing for white sugar is based on London's LIFFE, for raw VHP is based on New York 11. A premium is added to the prices shown in these exchanges. Then Buyer and Seller signcontract.

• Seller will send past performance such as past B/L, inspection report, health certificate, etc to Buyer to confirm Seller has shipped sugar in the past.

• Buyer bank issues agreed upon payment methods, and Seller makes vessel booking for containers or full vessels and transmit the booking information to Buyer. Again, Buyer can call the shipping lines such as MSC, or Maersk, or port authority to confirm the booking.

• Seller loads the products to vessel and email copies of B/L, inspection report (SGS or Cotecna, etc), health and sanitary reports and certificate of origin directly to Buyer. Buyer should contact the inspection agency - SGS or Cotecna - to verify the certificates are authentic. Please note that this is very important to prevent FRAUD on the SGS certificates. By contacting SGS directly to confirm that the report is genuine, there is no chance of errors.

• Buyer bank then releases the payment to Seller Bank and collects shipping documents.

Key Specification:- Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) OPC, popularly known as grey cement, has 95 per cent clinker and 5 per cent gypsum and other materials.
The ASTM Standard Specification for Portland Cement (ASTM C150) provides for five types as follows :

• Type I—The standard product that has long been in use with no limitation on the proportions of the major oxides (CaO, SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3), also referred to as “ordinary Portland cement.”

• Type II—This cement possesses moderate resistance to sulfate attack because of certain limitations on composition. Sometimes called moderate-heat cement, it is intermediate between Type I and the low-heat Type IV cement. If moderate heat of hydration is desired, however, the optional limit on heat of hydration should be invoked when specifying or ordering.

• Type III—High-early-strength Portland cement is often produced by grinding Type I clinker finer or by altering the chemical composition of the cement.

• Type IV—Low-heat Portland cement. Not currently made in the United States and limited in production elsewhere.

• Type V—Sulfate-resisting Portland cement with appropriate limits on composition.

Product range: Ground-granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS or GGBFS) is obtained by quenching molten iron slag (a by-product of iron and steel-making) from a blast furnace in water or steam, to produce a glassy, granular product that is then dried and ground into a fine powder. Key Specification: Gypsum (CaSO4.2H2O) is a naturally occurring mineral mined from deposits formed by ancient sea beds as a raw material, white when pure, but commonly grey, yellow, red or brown, owing to impurities. The anhydrous form (CaSO4), anhydrite, is common.

• Inspection and Fumigation:

• The certificate of quality, weight and packing issued by Inspection Agency at loading port to be final and for Seller’s account.

• Fumigation to be effected on board the vessel after completion of loading with expenses to be at seller’s account; but expenses for crew on shore during the fumigation period including transportation, accommodation and meals at hotel for ship owner’s account.

• Time for fumigation not to count as lay time.
