The Automated type Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors uses a 4-Post (4-Beam) design, which is designed for loads up to 2000kgs.   The U-Series VRC can be used for same side entry-exit, opposite side entry-exitoptions. The payload is lifted on a carriage by means of chains, driven by a mechanical gearbox type drive assembly situated on top of the structure.   The control is carried out by PLC programming designed to suit the customer's requirement.   With In-built systems such as mechanical interlocks, and advanced safety-cam systems which are integral with the VRC operation, a highly safe and reliable operation can be achieved.   With a simple and sturdy construction, the automated series VRC provides an efficient, fast and reliable means for your vertical transportation needs.   Every VRC is designed specifically for individual customer requirements.   Automated series VRCs are commonly used for multiple floor-level operations. Generally used for palletized or small sized loads. These VRCs are used in conjunction with conveyor systems.   Deck-Lock Safety Systems, an optional feature, can also be implemented in this series.

A Datar Engineering manufactures Scissor lifts for a range of loads from 500Kg. upto 7500Kg. and platform sizes up to 3m x 4m.   All our scissor lifts are hydraulically powered and come with reliable and fail proof safety features. Scissor lift speed is around 25 mm/sec. The scissor lifts are fixed location scissor lifts.   Scissor lifts may be generally used for truck-transfers or vertical transportation up to a reasonable height.   Scissor lifts are a more economical option to VRCs, but have a few disadvantages with respect to shut height, safety requirements as compared to VRCs, frequency of operation, hydraulic system faults, higher maintenance.   Applications of scissor lifts include being used for loading and unloading of vehicles, as vertical handling equipment in conjunction with racking systems.

Inclined Belt Conveyors are suited where the articles need to be transported to various levels of the storage system.   An inclined belt conveyor is best used where the material movement to and from various levels of the storage system needs to be a continuous one. Also an array of inclined belt conveyors makes it very convenient to sort the products destined for different levels in the storage system.   In a scenario where the picking operations are of prime importance, an Inclined Belt Conveyor helps maintain a smooth flow of articles from the picking zone to the packaging area.   This helps in minimizing the bottlenecks typically faced in the Outward staging area. A Gravity Chute is a "Low Cost, Zero Power" equipment for transporting packaged goods i.e. carton boxes not weighing more than 35-40 kgs from various levels of the storage system to the ground level.   An application that does not demand a metered flow of goods to the outward staging area and where the material configuration is within a very closed range.   Datar engineering has designed and supplied gravity chutes for a Ground + 2 floor application where the top tier height is 5000mm from the ground level.   The material of construction of the Gravity chute can be either Mild Steel OR Stainless Steel depending on the operating conditions.   As the floor space requirements vary with each application, we request you to consult with our engineers before making any civil modifications.
