The threaded taper pin is used with a taper pin washer & shear nut or self locking nut. Low Carbon Steel C-12L14 & 303 ss machined to a 63 micro-finish (max.). Standard Threaded Taper Pins have a tolerance of +.0013/-.0007 on the Major Dia. Standard Taper is per foot or 0.0208 per inch.Taper Pins are threaded on Large End to allow removal by tightening down nut. |
