Plain Taper Pins

We are leading Manufacturer of Taper Pins, both plain and threaded, including special taper pins in both inch and metric series.

Plain & threaded tapper pins are used in joints which carry shear loads & where the absence of play is essential. The plain taper pin is usually drilled and secured with wire. The threaded taper pin is used with a taper pin washer & shear nut or self locking nut.

Low Carbon Steel C-12L14 & 303 ss machined to a 63 micro-finish (max.). Standard Threaded Taper Pins have a tolerance of +.0013/-.0007 on the Major Dia. Standard Taper is ¼” per foot or 0.0208” per inch.
Taper Pins are threaded on Large End to allow removal by tightening down nut.
