The selection and engagement of gears in an Automatic Transmission (AT) is hydraulically controlled depending on vehicle speed and depression of the Accelerator Pedal. The AT PWM Solenoid changes the flow of the automatic transmission oil to hydraulically control the selection and engagement of gears.
