The bottle with cap that is to be crimped is placed under the crimping tool, which possesses a spring loaded platform along with spring load. Besides, a hand operating lever helps to actuate the tool over the bottle. This tool properly covers the cap for pulling action of the tool at the time of pressing the handle. Moreover, it results in the crimping of caps to the bottle and adjustment of the height of crimping head. This adjustment is done through loosening the side lever and by sliding the head upwards and downwards.

Process Operation

The bottles are loaded on the subsequent indexing part of rotating platform and are cleared in series of operations. A number of trays are provided in this machine. These trays are light weighted and designed such that bottles need not be kept one by one. These trays are directly overturned on to plastic crates containing the bottles. The bottles seat on PVC cups on the trays and the plastic crates are then removed. Specially designed bottle holders are provided to hold the bottles with their neck diameter. The bottles are placed in an inverted position in these cup shaped holders.A Hydraulic systempushes the trays into the machine at set intervals. The machine consists of various compartments for different washes. The first section is the hot waterCaustic Soda wash. Spraying showers does the external cleaning of the bottles. The Solenoid valves are provided to enable the regulation of wash timings, it also spraying water when bottle are stopped means ensure saving of water and sequence of various washing media to suit specific requirement. In the second, third and fourth sections the bottles are washed in plain water. If required, more sections can be added in this bottle washing process. Each section has its own monobloc set that pump the water in a high-speed jet. TheRinser nozzlesare kept below the bottles as well as above the bottles. In each section two trays consisting of 24 bottles are washed at once. The rinsed water falls into a stainless steel tank below and is recycled by the pump. A fine mesh of stainless steel is kept above the tanks and all dirt and dust is collected. The meshes can be easily removed and cleaned at regular intervals.

The central conveyor belt brings the bottle from the capping machine conveyor. These bottles are automatically bifurcated on the two adjoining conveyor belts & further on the side tables for operators sitting on either side of the table. The operators in turn pick up the bottles & visually inspect the bottles in the alternate white & black background to check for any particles in the liquid filled, sealed & breakage of bottle. After inspection the bottles are placed in the central track, which is transfer for labeling.
