Black Orthodox Tea is more oxidized or fermented than the Green Tea and oolong tea so it is stronger in flavor and darker in color than the less oxidized teas. It is first withered to induce protein breakdown and reduce water content (68-70%), then rolled releasing the leaf juices and enzymes that activate oxidation. White Peony Tea is a mild tea made from unopened tea buds as well as the new leaf about to sprout. Freshly harvested leaf is allowed to wither in sun and the natural oxidation takes place, which gives this White Peony Tea beautiful plush flavors. The liquor of White Peony Tea is golden & Bright in color with floral fresh flavor. Manufacturing Process

Fresh tealeaves are directly steamed or dried in dryer to stop oxidation process in Green Tea, so it is called un-oxidized or unfermented tea. The process retains many of the polyphenols, catechins and flavonoids that are associated with health benefits of drinking green tea. The liquor appearance is lemonish yellow with bitter sweet, nutty, floral and vegetal taste. Manufacturing Process

Formosa Pouchong is a type of Oolong Tea but closer to Green Tea. Oolong is usually about 30% fermented but F. Pouchong is 15-18%. This wonderful Formosa Pouchong has delicate, slightly grassy or Vegetal with a very distinct floral character. Formosa Pouchong Tea is very delicious and refreshing. The Leaves of Formosa Pouchong Tea are hand rolled and dry leaf appearance is dark. Manufacturing Process

White Tea is made from leaves harvested while very young, and the buds are still covered in very fine, white hairs (silver tips). These hairs are what which gives white tea its name. Like green tea, the leaves are not fermented. White Tea has a pale, golden color and has light fresh scent. The taste of White Tea is mild and sweet. Manufacturing Process

Oolong Tea is semi oxidized, so this tea falls somewhere in between Green & Black Tea. In the amount of time, the tea leaves are allowed to oxidize. It is somewhat full bodied having flavor full fragrance and sweet aroma and taste. The leaves after withering are hand rolled instead of leaf being rolled in roller machines. Manufacturing Process
