Virtual Flow Meter that we manufacture and supply is extensively in demand amongst buyers. It is almost impossible to monitor the changes in the flowrate of individual pumps in a pumping System unless the flow of each pump is measured constantly. The conventional flow meters require turbulence free flow. This can only be achieved if you can provide 13 times diameter of pipe as straight length of delivery pipe. This situation is practically impossible due to constraints in the civil design. It is also a costly method. Besides this, the flow meters like full bore electromagnetic are too costly. Also, it cannot be installed on the existing systems.
We can also provide an effective solution by the provision of some software linked with minimum robust instrumentation for the measurement of flow of each pump in a system. The only belief is that the Hydraulics of any pump dose not varies once the pumps are manufactured. In case of damages to the internals of the pump, the same is effectively seen on the variation of power consumption.
These flow meters can be installed in the present working systems. They do not call for any major cutting or welding except for some minor instrument fixing locations. They do not call for long shut downs for installations. They can keep a constant check on the pump health & keep recordings for future planning.
