How It Works

  • The major components of the Prime Series single phase vacuum cleaners are the motors, the filter and collection tank.
  • Suction is provided by using carbon brush motors operated by independent switches and placed inside a plastic shock-proof casing which is resistant to chemicals and high temperatures and reduces the noise level. Depending on the model, there may be 1, 2 or 3 motors. Powerful Ametek vacuum motors with double insulation and independent cooling system are used. These motors come with inbuilt thermostat which will stop operation when temperature reached 105 C, thereby providing maximum protection and ensuring long life.
  • The Prime Series commercial single phase vacuum cleaners come fitted with a fabric filter. The fabric filter collects any solid waste and is reusable. The filter will need to be removed when liquid waste is being collected. As an option, HEPA filter can also be provided on certain models.
  • The tank is built with stainless steel and has capacities ranging from 30 to 80 litres. These machines also come with a flexible hose and other cleaning attachments.

Single phase vacuum cleaners operate with a universal motor and can be used for the following applications:

How it works

  • Three Phase Centralized vacuum cleaners have the blower and filtration unit located in a central location, and is connected by pipes to fixed vacuum inlets installed throughout the premises. Only the hose and cleaning accessories need be carried to different locations for cleaning. UPVC or metal piping connects the inlets to the central unit.
  • The dirtbag or collection bin in a central vacuum system is usually large enough that emptying or changing need not be done very often. The central unit usually stays on standby and is turned on automatically only when required.
  • A centralized vacuum system typically produces greater suction than common portable vacuum cleaners because a larger blower and more powerful motor can be used when it is not a portable system. A cyclonic separation system does not lose suction as the collection container fills up until the container is almost full.
  • Three Phase Centralized vacuum cleaners offer higher cleaning because unlike a standard vacuum cleaner, which must blow some of the dirt collected back into the room being cleaned (no matter how efficient its filtration), a central vacuum system removes all the dirt collected to the central unit. Since this central unit is usually located outside the main area, no dust is re-circulated back into the room being cleaned.
  • Another benefit of a centralized vacuum system is because the blower unit is located in a remote location, there is much less noise in the room being cleaned than with a standard vacuum cleaner.

Components

  • Central vacuum systems are made up of seven major components: the vacuum producer, filtration system, container, discharge device, conveying/piping system, hose and other accessories and the control system.
  • All the components must be designed to work specifically for your application. No two systems will be the same, so each must be engineered for your specific requirements.
  • The Vacuum Producer - For most centralized vacuum systems, we use roots blowers. For certain applications, ring blowers or centrifugal blowers may be used.
  • The Filtration System - Filtration systems may use bag filters or cartridge filters depending on the application. Depending on the quantity and type of dust, we usually provide a pulsejet online self-cleaning mechanism.
  • Storage - If the material is to be continuously discharged back to the process, no internal storage is required. If the material is to be stored within the system, and batch discharged, a certain storage capacity is required.
  • The Discharge Device - The discharge device predominantly used in our central vacuum systems are rotary airlock valves.
  • The Piping Network - The piping must be designed optimally to ensure that the dust/material is conveyed to the filter without any hindrance.
  • The Hose and Tools - Hose and tools must be lightweight, yet be of a robust, industrial duty design as required for the application. Selection is based on ergonomic design and the ability to stand up to abuse.

Component

  • Ring Blower - The ring blower is the engine that makes the vacuum cleaner run by providing constant and consistent vacuum suction. It is produced with die-cast aluminium alloy for maximum efficiency and reliability. The ring blowers we use are robust and meant for heavy duty, non-stop operation.
  • Filters - We use 3 M class antistatic cartridge filters for each of our Hydra series machines. Our polyester cartridge filters have a layer of aluminum, which makes them antistatic. This antistatic property is very important because during suction of dust, especially very fine particles static build up may occur.These cartridge filters also have a very smooth surface which allows dust to slip away and prevents frequent filter clogging.
  • Cyclone - Dynavac® Hydra series machines have their cyclones designed in such a manner that it prevents direct contact of sucked material with the filter.Our design prevents the descending dust and the dust already inside the collection drum from being sucked onto the filter.
  • Tangential Inlet - The Hydra industrial vacuum cleaners have a more optimal cyclonic effect due to tangential inlet into the machine.

The Hydra Advantage

  • M Class Cartridge Filter Advantages - The fundamental advantage of the M Class cartridge filter over the polyester cartridge filter is that the M Class filters due to the design of its surface whereas the non-woven filters because of the thickness of the material. This limits the airflow because of which the speed of pickup of material drops and secondly, it also more prone to filter clogging.
  • Tangential Inlet - Many industrial vacuum cleaners have a central inlet that is directed using a tangential deflector resulting in the dust entering slower through the inlet. The tangential inlet does not restrict the flow of dust into the industrial vacuum cleaner and also helps develop a more optimal cyclone effect.
  • Quick Release Collection Drum - The Hydra series comes with a quick release and easy latch mechanism to easily attach and remove the collection drum. The drum is also provided with a handlebar making it easy to move and empty

Hydra PJ
