Microcontroller Visual Melting Point Apparatus Model 3935 with Graphical LCD display and colored TFT screen and high resolution camera. It is designed for accurate measurement of melting points and for checking the melting range of the solid samples. The apparatus consists of a silicon oil bath of about 200 ml capacity, covered with a Teflon cover with 5 holes, fitted with a special type of oil immersion heater and having three holes for holding the capillaries, one for boiling point tube and one for the thermometer.
The plateau temperature and the heating ramp rates are fully programmable using ‘Plateau’/ ‘Ramp’. The plateau temperature allows the user to set a temperature to few degrees below the expected melting point temperature. Auto melting point apparatus will then heat to the programmed plateau temperature very rapidly. Once plateau temperature is reached the instrument will heat slowly from the plateau temperature until the powder melts on programmed ramp rate.
A high resolution camera detects the sample status. This makes it a user friendly instrument.

Melting Point Apparatus with TFT display & 4 digit LED display is designed for accurate measurement of melting points and for checking the melting range of the solid samples. The apparatus consists of a silicon oil-bath of about 200 ml capacity, covered with a teflon cover with 5 holes, fitted with a special type of oil immersion heater and having three holes for holding the capillaries, one for boiling point tube and one for the thermometer. It is supplied with high resolution camera & TFT display screen to view sample in capillaries.
The apparatus consists of an in-built magnetic stirrer, an electronic controller with indicator for precisely adjusting the rate of heating of silicon oil-bath, an ON/OFF switch, a pilot lamp, a magnifier, glare free background illuminator and a High/Low range temperature selector switch and digital temperature indicator with PT-100 RTD sensor.
The ‘Start’ switch is used to start the measurement of melting point. User can stop the process of measurement using ‘Stop’ switch after the instrument reaches the melting point of the sample. The display will always show the last temperature where ‘Stop’ switch was pressed in last measurement. Clear switch is used to clear the display to zero.

Auto Melting Point Apparatus is specially designed to find the melting point temperature of crystalline sample held within capillary tubes. Instrument uses the latest microcontroller technology and advanced engineering techniques so as to give enhanced accuracy and reproducibility. The system is equipped with microcontroller based digital display for displaying accurate results and soft touch membrane type keys for ease of operation.
The sample capillary to be analyzed is held in an heating block (i.e. aluminium block) inside the heating chamber. The block holding the sample capillary tube is heated and the temperature is displayed on the 4 digit seven segment red LED display.

The end point of the measurement cycle (i.e. final melting point temperature) is indicated with ‘END’ led along with the intermittent audible beep. ‘Run’ LED indicates that the instrument is in measurement cycle.
User can store upto 100 results (i.e. melting point temperatures) using the ‘Store/Recall’ key which are retained in the instruments memory even when it is switched off. If by chance the sample capillary is broken inside the heating chamber, then user can flush the broken capillary using the ‘Normal’/’Clean’ rotary switch provided at the right side of the instrument.
