How to use as a surface treatment : nanoseal water repellent has to be diluted at 1:12 by using water prior to application. The use of higher concentrations than required may result in the formation of a white residue on the surface. Users should test the concentration to be applied on the substrate prior to use. After application of the silicone solution, allow the treated surface to dry for 24 hours to develop maximum water repellency. as an admixture integral component : add 0.25 to 0.75 % (by weight) of nanoseal as a function of cement weight, to get best possible reduction in water permeability. Above % may vary in case of specific applications. Applications methods : dilute solutions of nanoseal water repellent can be applied by brush, roller, spray. Application precaution : always prefer application studies for small surfaces volumes for any new application area to establish the data for specific use.Surfaces to receive the water-soluble silicone should be slightly dampened prior to application. This water-soluble silicone can not be applied on the surfaces on which previously treated silicone or another water repellent product layer is already existing. Such traces can be removed by scrubbing the surface (normal washing with water is not sufficient to remove those patches.) handling precautions : nanoseal water repellent is highly alkaline material and should be handled with the same care as solutions of caustic soda. Avoid direct inhalation in case of misting during spraying (a respirator is recommended during such operations). Local exhaust is recommended if spray or mist is created in an enclosed area. Swallowing large amounts may cause serious injury. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. In case of skin contact, wash immediately. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with water at least for 15 minutes and obtain prompt medical attention.
