This series is specially designed for crank shaft grinding to accommodate the maximum eccentric throw and journal diameter of crank shafts. Custom made design are available to accommodate in-process gauge and vertical loading.

Standard Hydraulic Self steady rest with rear mounted hydraulic actuating cylinder The FRU steady rests can be mounted on flat or slant bed lathes CNC lathes,   CNC milling machines etc. FRU Hydraulic Steady rests are available with different models to hold a job diameter from 6mm to 630mm.

FAR FRUB series is Standard Steady rest with side mounted actuating cylinder designed to accommodate machines where the rear mounted cylinder may interfere with the door.

Clamping diameter starts from minimum 8mm and  and Maximum holding Range  630mm

FAR FRUA Steady rest with rear mounted hydraulic actuating cylinder  and extra opening for top arm. This steady rest is utilized in applications where vertical loading is required 

These steadies are for cylindrical and camshaft grinding. This series is designed to be used on machines where GHS series steadies cannot be used. It comes with a top arm which is fully openable so as to load components to the machine centre. The opening action can be identified through a sensor integrated to the steady itself.

GHS  series is a low cost option for all standard grinding applications such as cylindrical grinding, camshaft grinding, cam lobe grinding etc., We also manufacture custom design to accommodate in-process gauge.

AS series is specially designed with retractable arms for easy vertical loading of jobs even in hydraulic cylindrical grinding machines. FAR AS series is designed to achieve  is a high accuracy with a repeatability accuracy less than 0.002 mm.

KRSHS

The KRSHS Series is a steady rest designed for crankshaft machining with side mounted hydraulic cylinder with narrow arms. These steady rest are used on  machines where the rear mounted cylinder may interfere with the door. FAR can supply steady rest with provision for coolant flush through arms. 

COMPACT SERIES (CS)

• CS Series steady rests are compact to fit smaller machines with bigger clamping ranges.
• CS steady rest is comes with fully sealed body  Clamping range starts from 65mm and Maximum 510mm
