The new fischerscope�® ump 150 is perfectly suited for the aerospace and automotive industries and more. The ump corrosion series is ip54 rated and features a durable, custom moulded case with raised rubber keypad. The gauges come in multiple models to suit every budget and application. Dualscope fmp100 uses both the magnetic induction method (din en iso 2178) and the eddy current method (din en iso 2360). It can measure the following coating substrate systems: • non ferromagnetic coatings on ferromagnetic base metal like iron and steel. • insulated coatings on ferromagnetic base metal like iron and steel • insulated coatings on non-ferromagnetic base metal like aluminum, zinc etc • duplex coatings (paint hot-dip galvanized coatings) on steel (heavy duty corrosion protection), whereby paint and zinc coatings are measured simultaneously and displayed separately. Fischer coating thickness gauge (dual scope, delta scope & isoscope):- deltascope® fmp10 and fmp30:- it is used for the measurement on non-ferrous coating on ferrous substrates (f), e.g. Paint, lacquer, powder coating, chrome, copper, zinc, as well as enamel or plastic coatings on steel and iron. isoscope® fmp10 and fmp30:- it is used for the measurement of paint, powder coating, lacquer or plastic coatings on non-ferromagnetic metal substrates (nf) or anodic coatings on aluminum or electrically conducting coatings on non-conducting carrier materials. dualscope® fmp20 and fmp40:- due to automatic substrate material recognition and the integration of both measurement methods, these universal instruments are capable of measuring coatings on steel and iron (f) and on non-ferromagnetic metals (nf). Anotest® ymp30-s sealing quality tester for anodic coatings on aluminum:- the weather resistance of a finish is a function of sealing quality. According to din en iso 12373-5 and astm b 457-67, the admittance (y) of a capacitor in which the anodic oxide film forms the dielectric is a good yard-stick of sealing quality. Measurement procedure:- a self-adhesive rubber ring is placed on the surface to be tested and the space so enclosed filled with a few drops of a test fluid. The aluminum substrate is then connected to the earthing socket of the unit and the test electrode dipped into the cell fluid, thereby forming a capacitor in which the anodic film acts as the dielectric. It is the admittance of this capacitor which is measured and directly indicated in μs (micro siemens).
