In the induction billet heater the whole of the billet or slug is heated. Normally for short billets or slugs a hopper or bowl is used to automatically present the billets in line to pinch rollers, chain driven tractor units or in some cases pneumatic pushers.Heater Material: Steels, Brass, Aluminum, Copper etc.Power(Watts): 7.5 kw- 100 kwInduction heating saves the time to heat the part.Induction heating will greatly improve the quality of Brass and Copper alloy billets when it will be pressed.Heaters can be configured as single billet or multi-billet induction coils dependent on the production rates required.

Foster Induction Heater is used for heating bearings of 25 mm ID up to 120 mm ID.The heating temperature is variable and can set default value and its about 120 degree C.The whole unit consists of 2 units. One is the transformer unit and Second unit is micro controller based control unit. Transformer unit having 3 yokes small, medium and big. SMALL : OD 18mm (Bearing size upto 30mm ID) MEDIUM : OD 28mm (Bearing size 30mm-55mm ID)BIG : OD 43mm (Bearing size 55mm-120mm ID)Control Unit is the heart of the heater that controls all the parameters and connected to the transformer unit.It consist of LCD display, push buttons, temperature sensor, indicating red, yellow, green lights.After loading the bearing to the yoke and by supplying main power, set the temperature from LCD panel and then push the start button.As you press the start button the temperature will keep on increasing until the set temperature achieved and as the temperature achieved buzzer will sound for 10sec. and then off automatically.In the case of any emergency one can stop the heater operation by pressing the stop button.The whole heater is easy to operate and any semi skilled operator can execute the job very precisely, quickly and efficiently.
