We are offering derrick crane. This heavy duty crane facilitates the handling of marble blocks at the quarry. It’s rational structure i.e. Boom, central mast and rafters are made out of heavy duty structural steel frame work, duly stress relieved. The base of central mast is fixed to the hoist unit, which in turn rotates on specially designed thrust bearing, anchored to the central foot by means of bolts, grouted in concrete foundation or rock. The hoist unit comprises of special crane duty motor, connected to variable speed reducers and helical gear box, duly coupled to a grooved steel drum. Hydro-thruster brakes are used to control the smooth lifting of weight. The hoist unit rotates on specially designed thrust bearing by means of multiple step down gears, built into the hoist foot. The hook block is equipped with a forged steel forked revolving hook. Wire rope is of 6 x 37 construction. Electric operations are controlled with push button control unit, independent from the position of hoist unit. Limit switches for rotation, boom lowering and lifting & load lowering and lifting are provided to ensure accident free operations.

This Robot has been developed in collaboration with Intermek, Greece. The rotating arm type ROBOT can be used for handling slabs in resin line and line polisher with Open Book-Match. The Robot enables for continuous, uninterrupted loading/unloading of the slabs to the line and can lift marble slabs of dimensions 3.2m x 2.1m x 30mm. The high number of vacuum cups with a high capacity vacuum pump gives robot the ability to handle any type of material. An auxiliary slab platform is provided to perform “open book” type loading/unloading. The slab is picked up by the robot with the help of suction pads mounted on a tilting arm and the whole structure moves on rails. The robot grabs the slab from the slab stand/trolley and unloads it to the tray directly or turns its upside down by placing it on the auxiliary slab support and picking it up from the bottom side to perform open-book loading. All the axes of the loader are controlled by inverter. The suction cups are separated in groups and they are automatically cut off when the slab is small to keep the suction force high.

The tower oven is heated using high capacity blowers and is concealed from all sides minimizing heat loss resulting in low running and electricity costs. The elevator moves on four pillars ensuring superior rigidity, minimum vibrations and high-speed movement.   The conveyor system uses chains on both sides to ensure smooth movement of the trays. The vacuum chamber has a robust construction equipped with two vacuum pumps capable of maintaining absolute vacuum inside the chamber, which helps in treating physical effects like cracks, holes, surface effects or even joining of two broken pieces effectively.

Electric motor (40 hp 60 hp 4 pole) connected to the 800mm aluminium casted fly wheel (speed 400 rpm), is fitted directly to the octogonal oil bath gear box shaft which also carries two 300mm dia guide wheels.the gear box turns through 360° without moving the machine and the fly wheel shaft adjusts to make parallel cuts at minimum 1100 mm and maximum 1700 mm distance. Diamond wire travel speed is 25 to 40 meter second. These two guide wheels are positioned to guide the wire for any cutting directly and allow safe wire start up. Three rail tracks are included of length 2000 mm. Each with quick couplings for rapid track laying. Small electric control panel is provided with overload fuses and over load relays for all motors, emergency stops on machine control panel.
