Shot blasting involved blasting of stone surface with small iron balls at high speeds on surface of stone under factory condition, it is used on harder stones which have little effect when finished using sand. Shot blasting removes the top surface layer of a material and giving stone similar rough surface. It is generally used for walls, gate entries, patios, landscape design applications, etc.

Bush hammering is the process of providing dense and grooved surface to the stone by a pounding action that develops a textured surface. The top surface is pneumatically tooled to produce a pitted or grooved surface finish.
