Butyl rubber is a copolymer or isobutylene and a small percentage of isoprene and has a very low permeability to air and other gases. It has excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation and sunlight, with an excellent temperature range of -45 C to + 130 C. Butyl has a very low resilience, which makes it ideal for vibration damping and shock absorption applications but offer a moderate resistance to abrasion and compression set. With careful compounding, Butyl compound can be made to acquire really good tensile strength. It is resistant to most inorganic products and highly resistant to mineral acids, alkaline and aqueous acids. We do not recommend its use in application where resistance to oils and Hydrocarbons is required. We can offer halogenated Butyl Rubber Sheets for specified applications

Simwool Ceramic Fiber Blankets are manufactured in two temperature grades viz. 1260C & 1425C. It is made from Simwool Bulk Fibers, which is manufactured by using high purity Alumina, Silica and (Zircon). Double needling enhances the physical properties of the blanket, conferring good strength, handling ability, durability and resistance to delaminating.
Simvac Ceramic Fiber Board is made from refractory fibers and binders which have low organic content, the mixture is vacuum processed into boards that imparts good mechanical strength even after heating. Boards are manufactured in various densities and temperature grades to suit application requirements.

ANTI ABRASIVE PACKING Duplex Plaited Non-Asbestos Synthetic Fibre product which is as strong as steel, as smooth as silk, most flexible and treated with high temperature resisting lubricants, under controlled conditions. Well suited for pumping granular and viscous fluids even under high pressure conditions.
This packing has a high degree of resiliency and consistency of volume and hence avoids frequent gland adjustments. Low thermal expansion characteristics under actual operating conditions reduce mechanical pressure against shaft sleeves to minimise abrasion effect.

Asbestos PTFE packing is made of white asbestos fiber cords impregnated with PTFE dispersion. Soft in texture, this material is suitable for sealing pumps for various chemicals. However, packing impregnated with lubricants is recommended for use with reciprocating pumps or for sealing in places where high linear velocity.

Carbon fiber packing with graphite is woven of strong carbon fiber after softening treatment and impregnation with a mixture latex of fine graphite powder, PTFE dispersion and lubricant. It is chemical resistant, heat conductive and with high strength, so this item is widely used with revolving and reciprocating pumps in which chemical corrosive media and particle grains exist. The successful test result in application of high pressure ammonium and luiquid ammonia pumps proved its the best sealing material for high pressure a, high temperature and corrosion.

Introduction:Flex-O-Seal is a unique sealing material manufactured from special grade of expanded 100% pure PTFE by transforming the fibrous structure by means of a special process. Though very tough, it is spongy and suited to almost all flanges, covers and narrow cavities. Its special soft and flexible character enables it to be the most ideal seal under pressure without significant cold flow even on irregular, badly damaged or corroded flange surfaces. Once bolted this gasket rarely need to be retorqued.
Properties:FLEX-O-SEAL recommended temperature-240C, to 310C, PH Range 0-14 No deterioration due to stocking for long time. Resistant to high pressure, non-toxic.Not recommended for use against elemental fluorine, alkali metals and strong oxidising agents.
