Calcite is also known as chalk powder or natural calcium carbonate. It is in bright white color and it has modular particle size with crystalline structure.

Industrial Applications :

• Paints : Used in economic quality cement primer, wood primer, Cement paint, metal primer, distemper, emulsion paint, texture coating etc.
• Plastic : Used in rigid PVC pipes, footwear, cables, leather clothes etc.
• Rubber : Used in Rubber industry as a bulk filler, in many rubber products.
• Tiles & Ceramics : Important filler in tile manufacture and also as glazing material.
• Misc. Application : Used in pollution control, neutralizing chemicals for acid wash, source of calcium salt. Applications of this is also in bulk like cement, steel and other industries.

Talc is a naturally occurring steatite. It is also called as French chalk, soap stone. It comes in brilliant white and off colour. It has extremely soft soapy feeling and the powder is very slippery.

Industrial Applications :

• Foundries : Used in mould making and for final finish.
• Ceramics : Talc improves resistance to thermal shocks and gives superior electrical properties. It gives greater toughness to speak plugs and switch boards. It also improves dry pressing resistance of ceramic bodies
• Paper : Gives smoothness, brightness to paper & partially replaces TiO2. Also acts as pitch absorber.
• Paints : Highly recommended for wood finishes, primers, putties, undercoated, architectural finishes, water based coatings. Its laminar structure helps in better corrosion protection and also improves exterior durability of paints. Recommended for epoxy and exterior paints.
• Plastic &Rubber : Used in variety of application as filler.
• Cosmetics : Super fine talc powder is used in cosmetic for its smooth silky finish.

Aluminum silicate is made from aluminum, oxygen and silicate that can take the form of a mineral as well as combine with water to make a clay. Aluminum Silicate is light weight and super white in color.

• It is having high degree of brightness, low plasticity, ease of dispersion.
