Bentonite is a natural Mineral Powder. The most important use of Bentonite is based on its natural thickening property. It can be grey, blue, yellow, red and brown.
The Sodium/ Calcium based Bentonite is a versatile mineral that caters to a wide range of industries from traditional usage areas such as metal casting, iron ore palletizing , civil engineering, drilling, pet litter etc.
Industrial Applications :
Main application of bentonite is in oil industries. In paint industry it is used as thickener in cheap quality paints, primers and water based coatings.
Material Storage : Keep material away from heat and source of ignition. , Keep container closed in cool well ventilated area. While handling avoid skin & eye contact. It is non-hazardous.
Safe Handling Recommendations : Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of standard PPE is recommended for employee comfort and safety. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prior to use.
