Established in 2018; Gratitude Farms is an agri-tech start up led by Major Ved Prakash Sharma (Retd.); that practices Natural Precision Farming & on-Farm value-addition combining the power of Discipline of ex-servicemen and Execution Focus.
We are ex-servicemen enterprise & have two key Business Verticals - Fresh Produce & Non-Perishables; that aims to enhance cover of farmland without Chemicals and attempts to curb Fruit & Vegetables wastage and build a Social Impact Business.
Under the Non-Perishables Business; we have 4 categories: Fruit Rolls | Exotics from J&K | Dehydrated Fruits, Vegetables, Greens & Powders | Pre-mix Health Drinks and marketed under the Gratitude Farms label.
To build capacity; we are executing 2 projects under Gramonnati Trust with grants from NIIF (Dichpally, Nizamabad in Telangana & Qazigund, Anantnag in J&K aimed at saving 600 T of Fruit & Vegetables wastage using Dehydration (moisture removal); develop value-added products & offer dignified livelihood to ~140 women over 5 years.
Our Non-Perishables Business is a new vertical & just started our journey with Fruit Rolls & Apricot Cans (sourced from Canning Facility set up by the Indian Army at Tyakshi & Turtuk region of Leh, Ladakh District) and building Marketplace for them across multiple channels.
