ABOUT US.

Green Poshan is a conscious effort to make better nutrition accessible to people through their food. The indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides have brought down the nutritive value of our daily staples such as grains and pulses. Apart from the loss of nutrition, you may have noticed that this chemically produced food has an altered taste, which is significantly distinct from the food we ate while growing up.

Through naturally grown & green processed products, GreenPoshan aims to give us back our nutrient packed childhood. Currently we focus on three categories: Chemical free, organically grown groceries – Grains, Lentils, Pulses, Spices etc. Convenience food like pickles, chutneys and other condiments produced via traditional methods that are devoid of harmful and chemical preservatives, by the women-run cottage industries. Personal care products made with naturally occurring ingredients by several women run self-help groups (Mahila Bachat Gat).
