A Young engineer Harjas founded HARMAN in 1958 at New Delhi, India. The idea was to manufacture High Quality. High Quality rather than Quantity. HARMAN led the PA Industry with new designs in Amplifiers, Speakers and Microphones.

It is interesting that today after 48 years, HARMAN still bases its existence upon same Ideas. Although the products are manufactured under modern Industrial Production method, they are like the products of craftsman, produced in a limited number, rather then unlimited like “truly mass produce objects”, selected triopicalised and conservatively rated components are used. They give trouble free service in extreme climatic condition and are designed to withstand any amount of jolting and vibration in transit. This enables us to create technically advance products which, inspite of their technicalities have a personality.
