Evolved Packet Core (EPC) is an innovation which depends on GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA technologies, can increase the capacity and speed using a different radio interface together with core network improvements. EPC refers to a core network architecture that aggregates access networks including LTE, 3G or 2G.   The virtual EPC(vEPC) is a complete LTE packet core solution based on network functions virtualization (NFV) technology. The vEPC can shorten the new service time to market, build an open ecosystem, and stimulate service innovation.

There is still last building wave of 4G network in next 2 to 3 years worldwide. There may be 2 aspects about marketing insight: a) In some country, the telecom consumption is still very high, some investors want to enter telecom domain, they are willing to invest in these countries. These investors are willing to invest some local small operators or create a new operator, they jump 2G/3G to 4G/5G directly, so they can surpass top operators easily in that country. b) The whole 4G industry chain is very mature in global, and the network building cost is decrease substantially. Many enterprises and governments department are willing to build their own private wireless network.

IPLOOK 4G/5G Converged Core creatively introduces 5GC architecture technology into 2G/3G/4G/Fixed networks and deeply integrates all networks based on network functions and microservice components to expand the capability exposure architecture to multi-network access.

Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions use cellular data (LTE/5G) to provide broadband internet to a home or office, without the need for cables. Typically, Service Providers or Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) install a few radio equipment and deploy IPLOOK’s 4G core network (IKEPC) in central locations around a community, with connections back to the Internet. Each subscriber has a CPE on their house and use it to receive broadband services. Our solution is highly scalable with a roadmap to 5G, supporting service providers of all sizes.

5G Core Network(5GC) holds a key role in realizing the full potential of 5G services. Without 5GC, fully-fledged NR services cannot be obtained. 5G NSA deployment leaning on traditional LTE network and EPC allows for a quick launch of 5G services, but also hinders the realization of 5G' s full potential. Base on Service Based Architecture(SBA), in 5GC, a cloud native design is introduced to enable flexible scaling and upgrades.

The MVNO provides wireless communication services without the full infrastructure or license to use radio frequencies. It provides wireless communications with agreements already in place with mobile network operators (MNOs). These companies obtain bulk access to mobile communications networks for their consumers at set retail and wholesale prices.
