• Grip 20 alternate sleepers from a bunch of 40 sleepers placed on rails centrally between the anxiliary track of 3400mm gauge
• Lift twenty sleepers simultaneously
• Lock 20 sleepers at 600 CTRS
• Transport the lifted, spaced sleepers at optimum speed and lay these at the remote site
• The machine will travel on an auxillary track of 3400mm gauge and cross level 0-0, for accurate laying of sleepers
• The lifting and carrying arrangement is non-sway type and all operations are executed by the operator hydraulically

Requirements To Operate The Hydraulic Sleeper Laying Machine

• An auxillary track of 3.4 meter gauge is laid matching the centre line of the new track
• An unloading base is designated for incoming sleepers on dedicated 40 sleeper trailers
• The base should have auxillary track such that the incoming trailers can go within the aux track for unloading by this machine with specially designed beam structure arrangement
• The beam structure is used to grip, release, space, anchor and tighten alternate sleepers on to its body
• Specially designed hydraulic cylinder and steel wire rope arrangement
