A spacer damper serves the dual purpose of providing proper spacing of subconductors and also providing damping effect from aeolin vibrations. This is for two (2) sub-conductors.
Conductors need to be protected from compression, bending, and abrasion at their support point. Conductor Armor Rods prevent this damage by increasing the stiffness of the conductor.
