Cone Drop Test Apparatus is designed to determine the cone penetration value of lubricating greases or soil consistency. It consists of a cone assembly with a standard stainless steel cone of 150 grams or 100 grams mass, and a cone holder mounted on a vertical rod. The release mechanism allows the cone to drop freely for a standard duration of 5 seconds. The apparatus includes a graduated scale to measure penetration depth in tenths of millimeters.
