Stainless Steel Cone Drop Test Apparatus for Greases Or Soil Consistency

Cone Drop Test Apparatus is designed to determine the cone penetration value of lubricating greases or soil consistency. It consists of a cone assembly with a standard stainless steel cone of 150 grams or 100 grams mass, and a cone holder mounted on a vertical rod. The release mechanism allows the cone to drop freely for a standard duration of 5 seconds. The apparatus includes a graduated scale to measure penetration depth in tenths of millimeters. The frame is made of corrosion-resistant metal, and the base provides stable horizontal support. It conforms to IS 2720 (Part 5), ASTM D217, or BS 1377 standards depending on the application.
