• Isolation : Isolation resistance between tip, ring and between earth = 10 Mega-ohms. Isolation resistance with line port = 10 Mega-ohms.
• Delay distortion : The delay distortion caused by POTS splitter is as follows:From 0.6 -3.2 kHz delay distortion is 200 microseconds.From 0.2 - 4.0kHz delays distortion is 250 microseconds.
• Longitudinal balance of POTS splitter : The balance is greater than 58 dB for frequency between 200 Hz - 1 kHz with a straight line-level decreasing to 53 dB at 3 kHz.
• The ringing voltage : Generated / detected at the subscriber unit is at least 40 V rms with frequency as 25 +/ - 3Hz. The Ringing voltage is generated by the DSLAM is 75V rms with frequency as 25 + / - 3Hz
• ADSL-band Return Loss : The return loss caused by loading the low-pass filter in the band from 25 kHz to 1104 kHz against the reference impedance of 100 ohms is greater than 14dB.
