An Indian Saree is a traditional garment worn by women in India and other South Asian countries. It consists of a drape typically ranging from 5 to 9 yards in length, which is elegantly wrapped around the body in various styles.
To wear an Indian Saree, start by tucking one end of the saree into the petticoat at the waist and make one complete turn around the body. Then make pleats in the front and tuck them into the petticoat. Finally, drape the loose end over the shoulder, forming the pallu.
There are numerous types of Indian Sarees, including Banarasi, Kanjeevaram, Chanderi, Bandhani, Patola, and more. Each type is known for its unique weaving techniques, designs, and fabrics.
