Tender leaves of Tulsi which is grown organically are plucked and dried in shade to maintain the quality and fragrance.
Green tea made from this is known as Basil Tea. It is also made in flavoured form by adding dried ginger, cloves and cinnamon.
Basil tea when taken early in the morning relieves a person from flatulence, sinus, bronchial problems and skin allergies adding immunity. It gives a feeling of freshness the whole day. Can be taken twice a day for getting still better results.
It is prepared by adding half tsp of Basil powder to a cup of water, along with little of organic jaggery. This is then boiled and sieved.
Can add a drop or two of lemon juice for perfect flavour.
