• Tender leaves of Tulsi which is grown organically are plucked and dried in shade to maintain the quality and fragrance.
• Green tea made from this is known as Basil Tea. It is also made in flavoured form by adding dried ginger, cloves and cinnamon.
• Basil tea when taken early in the morning relieves a person from flatulence, sinus, bronchial problems and skin allergies adding immunity. It gives a feeling of freshness the whole day. Can be taken twice a day for getting still better results.
• It is prepared by adding half tsp of Basil powder to a cup of water, along with little of organic jaggery. This is then boiled and sieved.
• Can add a drop or two of lemon juice for perfect flavour.
