This makes proper design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of the online strainers very critical.

the strainers are so called because the filter element inside the strainer is in the shape of a bucket.

ive bucket type strainers are designed & manufactured to give minimum pressure drop across the line. The unique design of strainer element will filter 100% of the flowing media even if the filtering element is 50% clogged. As the filtering element is designed 4 times the size of lined area, it doesnt require frequent cleaning, thus reducing the down time.

this design has two strainers mounted in parallel.

ive design & manufacture duplex type strainers. These strainers are used in continuous process lines, where shut down to the service is not possible. In the event one strainer gets clogged, the flow of the media is shifted to another standby strainer by switching off the valve position. 3 way ball valves & butterfly valves are used to divert the flow to the required strainer.

ive & startek strainers can be provided with single as well as double strainer elements. The strainer element can be of brass, ss 304 or ss 316. Generally a perforated sheet with wire mesh or required micron size is backed to it.
