Application area : The VEGAPULS 64 is a sensor for continuous level measurement of liquids. With small tanks or in case of narrow space the small process fittings offer special advantages. The very good signal focusing enables the use in vessels with many installations such as e.g. stirrers and heating spirals.
Your benefit
Function : The sensor emits a continuous radar signal through the antenna. The emitted signal is reflected by the medium and received as an echo by the antenna. The frequency difference between the emitted and received signal is proportional to the distance and depends on the filling height. The determined filling height is converted into a respective output signal and outputted as measured value.
Version
Materials : The wetted parts of the instrument are made of 316L, PP, PTFE or PEEK. The process seal is made of FKM, FFKM, EPDM or PTFE.
Housing versions : The housings are available as single chamber or double chamber version in plastic, stainless steel or aluminium. They are available with protection ratings up to IP 68 (1 bar).
Electronics versions : The instrument is available with electronics 4 - 20 mA/HART as well as HART and power pack.

The VEGAFLEX 81 level sensor measures maintenance-free all kind of liquids. Even in applications with vapour, buildup, foam generation and condensation, the sensor delivers precise and reliable measured values. The VEGAFLEX 81 is the economical solution for various level and interface measurements.
Application area : With VEGAFLEX 81 you can measure all kinds of liquids essentially maintenance free. The sensor delivers precise and reliable measured values even in applications with steam, buildup, foam generation or condensation. VEGAFLEX 81 is a truly cost-effective level and interface sensor for your measuring task.
Your benefit
Function : High frequency microwave pulses are coupled onto a cable or rod and guided along the probe. The pulse is reflected by the product surface. The time from emission to reception of the signals is proportional to the level in the vessel.

Materials : The wetted parts of the instrument are made of stainless steel. The instrument seal is made either of FKM, FFKM or EPDM.
Housing versions : The housings are available as double chamber version in plastic, stainless steel or Aluminium. They are available in protection class IP 66/ IP 67.
Electronics versions : The instruments are available in different electronics versions. Apart from the two-wire electronics with 4 - 20 mA/HART, a four-wire version and two purely digital versions with Profibus PA and Foundation Fieldbus are available.
Operation : The adjustment of the instrument is carried out via the optional display and adjustment module PLICSCOM or via a PC with the adjustment software PACTware and corresponding DTM. Further adjustment options are available via HART communicator as well as manufacturerspecific programs such as AMS™ or PDM.
