When testing blood glucose levels, the most essential parts of a glucometer are : glucometer test strip and glucose chek lancet. These glucose check lancet disposable are sterile and safe to use. Being 28G flat lancets, they are virtually pain free and compatible with Accu-Chek Softclixlancing devices.

A blood lancet is similar to a small scalpel but with a double-edged blade or needle. Lancets are used to make punctures, such as a fingerstick, to obtain small blood specimens. Blood lancets are generally disposable.

Lancetsare also used to prick the skin in skin testing for allergies. A blood-sampling device, also known as a lancing device, is an instrument equipped with a lancet. It is also most commonly used by diabetics during blood glucose monitoring. The depth of skin penetration can be adjusted for various skin thicknesses. Long lancing devices are used for fetal scalp blood testing to get a measure of the acid base status of the fetus.

Instructions Of Use

JSB GS04 Glucose Check Lancets Disposable are sterile and safe to use. With a fine tip for virtually pain free extraction of blood, it make diabetes testing easier.

  1. Unpack the JSB Glucose Check Lancet Disposable from the productpackage.
  2. From the pack of 100 lancets, take one lancet and twist the flattip to unleash the pointed needle.
  3. Place the glucose check lancet in the lancing device compartment, so that it sits tightly in the lancing device.
  4. Close the Softclix lancing device lancet compartment.
  5. Press the lancing device plunger and press the shoot button while pressing your finger against the lancing device.
  6. After use, open the lancing device compartment, and eject the blood lancet disposable.
  7. Remember to bend the sharp needle of the blood glucose check lancet disposable and to cover it with the cap, so that it can be disposed off safely.
